RISEBA University admits 72 new ERASMUS+ and Double Degree students

In study year 2018/2019 72 students from 11 different countries – France, Germany, Austria, Turkey, Slovakia, Georgia, Portugal, the Czech Republic, Croatia, Russia and Kazakhstan – will start their studies at RISEBA University within the scope of the ERASMUS+ exchange programme.

On the first day the students participated in various activities to get familiarised with the university environment, study process, as well as become better acquainted with each other.


To help new students to adapt in Latvia and RISEBA University study environment, to understand requirements and traditions of the university, to provide support and give answers when necessary, RISEBA Student Council has provided all international students with a “Student Buddy” – RISEBA student, mentor.


RISEBA University not only admits foreign students, but also provides its own students with an opportunity each year to go to any partnering universities within the scope of the ERASMUS+ exchange programme. During this semester, 26 RISEBA students went to study in 11 countries – 25 students in the ERASMUS+ programme and 1 in the Double Degree programme:
