The first group of RISEBA students is taking Business English Cambridge exam

The ability to communicate in multiple languages is becoming more and more important in the increasingly integrated global business community. Communicating directly with new clients and companies in their natives language is one of the first steps to founding a lasting, stable international business relationship. Therefore, ability to apply Business English cannot be underestimated. Considering the previously mentioned, RISEBA is proud to equip its students with the skills and knowledge of Business English and is offering them the possibility to take Business English Cambridge (BEC) exams.

BEC exams and underlying English courses are especially designed to help the students to communicate more effectively in an international work environment. They are based on real life situations. BEC exam focuses on all four communication skills – listening, speaking, reading and writing.

BEC certificate, that is awarded by University of Cambridge ESOL Examinations, is widely recognised by many employers, large international corporations, government ministries and agencies as well as by universities around the world. The certificate is valid for life.

We are happy to announce that on March 15, for the first time in RISEBA, 13 bright, knowledgeable and joyful European Business Studies programme students were taking Business English Cambridge exam. The exam was administered by the team from the Baltic Council for International Education and supervised by the Centre Inspector Russell Lachlan from London.
