IT Solutions Contest "CultHack Hackathon" will Take Place in Liepāja

The goal of CultHack Hackathon is within 48 hours to come up with new, innovative business IT ideas in the area of tourism, entertainment and culture, assess the business model potential of these ideas and build interdisciplinary teams for their implementation. The target audience of this event is IT, design, business and communication students, start-up members, culture, entertainment and tourism experts, business representatives and investors.


CultHack Hackathon is supported by Liepaja City Council, “Botwiser”, Investment and Development Agency of Latvia, “Tiamo Group”, “Swedbank”, “LatBAN”, “Froont”, “Dienas bizness”, “Tele2”, ”Sociālo tīklu māja”, “Art Hotel Roma”, “Law Office Spridzāns”, “Madara Cosmetics”, “Coworking Liepāja”, “Dirty Deal Audio”, “Digital Freedom Festival”, “Metālmeistars” Ltd., “Toode Rada”, “Usales.lv”, IT Waffle meetup, Kultūras Informācijas Sistēmu Centrs, University of Latvia, Turība University, “InCopy” Ltd., “WindCut” Ltd., as well as partners of the project No.1.1.1.3/18/A/004 “Kurzeme Innovation Grants for Students".


The winners will get valuable prizes that will help continue working on the idea in the follow-up to the hackathon.
