Council of Professors
The Council of Professors is formed for the election of professors and associate professors, in accordance with the valid Law on Higher Education Institutions of the Republic of Latvia.
Elections of professors and associate professors of RISEBA University of Applied Sciences, BA School of Business and Finance and Ventspils University of Applied Sciences in the field of Economics and Business are organized in accordance with the Law on Higher Education Institutions of the Republic of Latvia and the Regulations on Academic Staff Elections. The Council of Professors is established for five years in accordance with the list of branches and sub-branches of Latvian Sciences approved by the Latvian Council of Science and approved by the AIP. The members of the Council of Professors are approved by the Senate of each university. The Council of Professors is the successor of the rights and obligations of the Council of Professors of Management of Three Higher Education Institutions - RISEBA University of Applied Sciences, BA School of Business and Finance and Ventspils University of Applied Sciences.
