Iveta Ludviga earned a doctorate degree in Business Management programme at RISEBA. Her doctorate thesis was dedicated to intercultural business strategy and identification of business opportunities.
She is a former entrepreneur and has a many years’ experience in enterprise establishment and management. She used to work as a business consultant in an international company. She is a member and mentor of NGO “Līdere”. She has more than 6 years’ experience as a programme director and a head of academic department.
Her research interests include: intercultural business, strategy, entrepreneurship. She is the author of several 
academic papers published in international periodicals.

She holds workshops on change management, leadership, performance planning and evaluation, salary management and competency approach to human resource management for executives and workers.

Solveiga Blumberga works as an associate professor at RISEBA and RTU. She has previously worked as a lecturer at Riga Stradiņš University, RTTEMA, Ventspils High School, Latvian Maritime Academy, and International Higher School of Practical Psychology and deepened her knowledge in group psychotherapy in Lithuania, where she qualified as a group therapist.

She did internship in Stockholm University and Saint Petersburg State University, held guest lectures within the framework of Erasmus Programme “Staff Mobility – Teaching Assignment” in Katholieke Hogeschool Zuid-West-Vlaanderen in Kortijk, Belgium, and in Leonardo Da Vinci University in Paris, France.

Her research interests include leadership and authority, research of psychological measures of successful entrepreneurship, corporate social responsibility.
She is an associate professor of the Department of Management and Marketing at RISEBA

Aleksandrs Fedotovs earned a degree in engineering economics in Riga Technical University, then earned a PhD in economics at the Institute of Economics of Latvian Academy of Sciences and obtained a degree of habilitated doctor of economics in the Institute of Economics of USSR Academy of Sciences, and a title of professor In Moscow. He did internship in Norwegian School of Economics in Bergen. He’s been working as a professor and associate professor in different Latvian high schools; he’s been working for RISEBA since 1995.

Strategic Human Resource Planning

Obtained academic knowledge in RTU, BA Turība, Cables&Wireless College (UK), USTTI (USA), TEMIC (Canada), USF(USA). Aivars has Master’s degree in business management, also studied organisational development and human resource management in Roffey Park Institute (UK).

Work experience:
Chief executive  in SIA JETA, as well as Member of the board in SIA Kalnsetas R. Has deep theoretical and practical experience in business management, human resource management, project development and implementation in both, local and international companies. Wide experience in developing, implementing and monitoring projects for EU Structural funds, offering supervision and mentorship to businesses.

Author of many publications, Aivars participated in many international conferences reporting on his research in organisational development and human resource management.

He also prepares and reads lectures in RISEBA and BA Turība, educates in ZBC, LLKC, LTRK, LDDK, Comperio, Perfecta Consulting, Alberta Koledža, supervises students during their undergraduate and postgraduate dissertation development process. He also supervises businesses, which are operating in production, service or agriculture sectors. Topics of interest: business creation and development, strategic planning, organisational inner development problems, human resource management, project management, local marketing. Mr.Kalnins analyses small and medium business industry specifics, in consideration with economic and local market situation in the country.

Sandra Pallo is an expert on personnel development, management and evaluation. She used to work in Lattelekom Personnel evaluation and development centre. She’s a certified reteaming (Ben Furman’s method, Finland) coach, an experienced leader of business trainings. She has earned Aura-Soma Practitioner and Colour Care Consultant Level 1 and 2 certificates (England).

Daina Romanovska delivers “Human Resource Management” lectures for RISEBA postgraduate students. She holds social-psychological trainings and video trainings in the field of communication psychology. Anna has 10 years of work experience in various HR related positions. Currently she works as HR Manager at GroGlass, high-tech production company a high-tech company that produces state of the art anti-reflective “invisible” glass, which is used for general picture framing and museums (Louvre, National Gallery), electronic displays (e.g., Bang & Olufsen), architecture (store fronts, luxury hotels etc.) and many more applications. GroGlass is already become a world-leader in its industry and domestically has already been recognized as "The most capable exporter in Latvia 2012" by the Ministry of Economics and "Innovator of the year" by the Swedish Embassy. In the past Anna worked as a Recruiter at CVO and Olive Group, filling top-management positions for various Latvian and International well-known companies and as HR Specialist at Rigas Satiksme, public transport company.
Anna has taught at RISEBAA since 2010.

The key to success of any organization is how committed are its employees to the goals of the company.  But how does the company keep its employees motivated, while ensuring that the work is being done?  During this course we will discuss how to create a work environment where employees are committed to their organization and strive to achieve its goals. Dave Doughty works at Nottingham Trent University, College of Business Law & Social Sciences, Nottingham Business School.
He teaches on a range of courses both locally and internationally. Recently Dave has been heavily involved in developing the professional HR courses in Russia (based in Moscow) and Azerbaijan (based in Baku) which are the first ever taught CIPD courses to be delivered in these countries.

Dave has also been involved with a significant number of corporate courses across a range of industries from short courses to masters level. For several years Dave has been involved with providing consultancy inputs for BP. He is also involved with the hospitality industry, having done work in Baku, Moscow, Dubai, and London within major 5 star hotel groups. Other consultancy work has involved major HR audits and identification of a whole range of training needs. The work has extended to involve delivery of specific HR courses as well as more generic management skills development.

For 12 years she has actively worked in Enterprise Europe Network, promoting innovation in Latvian entrepreneurship community and promoting cooperation of research and industry internationally. In international project activities she has been working with different innovation target groups – researchers, entrepreneurs, educators , and doing research on innovative entrepreneurship development,  innovation support and innovation policy in Latvia. Yiannis E. Polychronakis is currently a Senior Lecturer in Logistics and Project Management based in Salford Business School at the University of Salford, Manchester, UK. He has published several articles in prestigious international journals (International Journal of Production Economics, International Journal of Quality and Reliability Management) in the area of Project Management application for Supply Chain Development, and has a number of papers included in refereed International Conference Proceedings. Yiannis has also assisted a number of private and public organisations in developing and implementing best practices in the areas of supply chain development and project management. Organisations include Kawneer (Europe), Silent Night, Cleveland Guest, Trafford City Council, Manchester City Council, Primary Care Trusts and more.
