The master's study programme "Project Management" is designed in accordance with the project manager profession standard, international project management guidelines and project management development trends in the world.

The aim of the study programme is to develop students’ in-depth theoretical knowledge of project management and management, ensuring their application in practice, preparing competent project managers for practical, innovative and research work in the projects of various organisations.
The programme promotes the ability to identify factors that impact most on project success and explain project management profession’s suitability for strategy implementation  in order to effectively manage the realization of complex and dynamic projects.

The study programme is focused not only on the acquisition of knowledge, but mostly on the improvement of professional skills and development of competences in Project Management, which provides an opportunity to manage different types of projects in different sectors and sectors.

Master Thesis

Applicants with previous non-professional education, additional to the basic program, are offered to acquire the introductory module in the form of distance learning (for an additional fee 1 CP-50 EUR):

Study methods

Various simulation games, case studies, problem solving and analytical research work are used in the study process. Project management is teamwork, the ability to structure and present the activities to be carried out, therefore the courses include various group work, communication and cooperation tasks.
The classes are conducted by both academics and industry professionals, thus facilitating the connection between theory and practice. During the study, various guest lectures of representatives of enterprises of the industry are provided.
During their studies, students have the opportunity to participate in international project management competitions, develop their business or project ideas in the creative business incubator of RISEBA, prepare project sufficiency for funding.
Students develop the ability to analyze the existing project management environment, to see the trends in the development of the profession and to develop proposals for the development of project management of the organization, not forgetting about the development of the competence of the project team.
Studies take place on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and every second or third Thursday evening from 18.00 to 21.10.

Carrer Opportunities

Graduates can work in the profession of Project Manager, be members of the project team or self-employed project managers in various industries.

Opportunities for study

Graduates can continue their doctoral studies or improve their professional qualifications-pass IPMA international project manager certification.
