The study programme  "Start-up economics and finance" has been established on the basis of RISEBA traditions and the best teaching staff. The study programme has been developed in cooperation with industry professionals (Latvian network of business angels “LatBAN”, start-up community platform “Labs of Latvia”, ALTUM, etc.), emphasizing the latest trends in the economy, business and labor market. The study program is also developed in accordance with the International Institute ICAEW, which provides an opportunity to obtain an international ACA certificate (consultant for strategic development of the company).

The skills and competences of the programme have been developed in cooperation with industry representatives, who emphasise the need to prepare specialists who are familiar with the issues of fundraising and funding management, analysis and scaling of international markets, familiar with the basic principles and psychological conditions of teamwork and intercultural communication.

Career opportunities

After graduation, you can work in both private and public administration institutions, as well as in non-governmental organizations. The main profile of graduates-to be able to attract funding, as well as to analyze financial flows. Graduates can also set up their own companies.
