Interlibrary loan (IL) is the possibility for the readers to use documents from the National library of Latvia or other research libraries’ collections via the library closest to them.

International interlibrary loan (IIL) is the possibility to receive editions, which are not in the collections of the National library of Latvia or other Latvian research libraries, from foreign libraries

RISEBA library main services

1. Receive full information about the library collection and search system in electronic databases.
2. Search for necessary literature in all catalogues and electronic databases (EBSCO host, EMERALD, Leta arhīvs+ Nozare.lv) of RISEBA library.
3. Borrow study literature for a lending period, established by library rules.
4. Lending periods can be prolonged with the librarian’s permission by e-mail
